Mark has worked in 4 racing stables since he left school and is now appreticed to the Millhouse Stables. In the early days Mark was Champion Novice Rider of the season in 2003. He also represented the British Racing School in the racing schools apprentice race at the Curragh in 2005.
At the time of writing this profile Mark has ridden 22 winners and had 60 places bringing the lucky owners a total of over £58,000 in prizes.
What about the future? Mark says he would like to quickly get his weight allowance down from 7lb to 5lb, in short get a few more winners under his belt. If he continues as he has so far this season it will not take him long.
